Vehicle Dealer Information

Welcome to the New York State Office of General Services (OGS) Centralized Contract for Vehicles (Class 1-8), where authorized users can acquire vehicles of all types and sizes (Class 1-8) from a variety of vehicle dealers on contract under award 23166 by conducting a Mini-Bid. This means that dealers of all types of vehicles representing multiple manufacturers can compete for vehicle buyer business.

How to Get on Contract

If your vehicle dealership is interested in being a part of the NYS Vehicle Marketplace, you must be on contract. There are many advantages to being a part of this contract, including being eligible to participate in any future mini-bids and finding business opportunities from all New York State authorized users including state agencies, local government, public authorities, non-profits, and many more. OGS is currently accepting bids for NYS Vehicle Marketplace contracts under OGS Solicitation 23166.

Mini-Bids

How to Respond to Mini-Bids

  1. All mini-bids under this award will be distributed by Authorized Users (the Buyer) via email to Contractors on Award 23166, using Form A: Mini-Bid Request for the type of vehicle being procured (Single OEM Any Make/Model, Single OEM Specific Make/Model or Chassis/Body, as applicable).
  2. Dealerships under contract must respond to a mini-bid request  directly to the Authorized User via email, using Form B: Mini-Bid Response (Single OEM or Chassis/Body, as applicable). .
  3. For a mini-bid request that specifies that it will be a lease, only those contractors that are approved by OGS to offer leasing may respond.
  4. After the mini-bid response due date, the buyer will evaluate the responses and determine if they are going to award the mini-bid or not.
  5. Once the buyer has made their decision, they will notify all the dealers on contract who responded to the Mini-Bid
  6. If awarded, the buyer will coordinate payment and delivery with the Dealer.
