In the first decades of the 21st century, OGS adapted to profound growth and diversity in the state workforce. Today, OGS oversees 57 major office complexes and buildings statewide and facilitates about 1,500 procurement contracts for goods, services, and technology needs.

Looking back at the past 65 years, OGS has evolved into one of New York's largest and most diverse agencies–one that is dedicated more than ever to its core mission of providing efficient and effective services for all New Yorkers. Today, OGS employs more than 2,000 people: a multitalented group of forward thinkers and doers with expertise in everything from construction to event planning and beyond.
