Low-fare operator MegaBus, a subsidiary of CoachUSA began operations in the United States in 2006. In 2008, MegaBus started service within New York State. Currently, express service is offered from Albany, Buffalo, Rochester and Syracuse to New York City. MegaBus also provides intercity trips within New York State.
