About the Permit to Assemble Application Procedure

Provisions relevant to the Permit to Assemble application procedure are located in Part 301 of Title 9 of the New York Code of Rules and Regulations.

Final approval is contingent upon the return of this application at least 30 calendar days prior to the date of proposed public assembly. 

Please be advised: Permits to assemble are issued for outdoor spaces only.

Please note: When submitting an application for a permit to assemble the applicant should be the organization involved unless the event is truly being organized solely by an individual. Further, the applicant’s name, address, and contact information must match on all supporting documents, such as letters of intent, certificates of insurance, etc. If the information does not match, the application will not be approved.
