New York State Office of General Services (OGS) Commissioner Jeanette Moy today invited children and their families to enjoy the 2025 Kids Day Presented by MVP Health Care, a free, kid-centric outdoor event in West Capitol Park from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 12. This year’s event will feature interactive performances and meet-and-greets with Baby Shark.
“Kids Day is an annual event hosted by OGS where families and friends can come together, have fun, and enjoy a day full of exciting activities,” Commissioner Moy said. “We want to thank our longstanding partner for this event, MVP Health Care, and all of our generous sponsors who make this great event possible.”

This year’s Kids Day will include multiple mini shows by Baby Shark that are full of laughter, dance, and song. They will take place at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m. Each mini-show will be followed by a meet-and-greet when kids will have a chance to take photos with Baby Shark and capture the special day.
Kids Day will also feature vendors offering a variety of food options and information on youth programs, as well as a range of family-friendly activities, including:
- Roaming Railroad Train ride
- Fun Putt
- Two by Two Zoo
- Pony rides
- Face painting
- Balloon twisting with Andrew the Balloonatic
- Glitter tattoos by Magic Brushes
- Arts and crafts with the Tulip Queen and Court
- Drumming with Badara
- Touch a Truck presented by CDTA

OGS is implementing a new emergency text alert system, which the public can use at events to receive emergency notifications specific to the event they are attending.
