Market Food Stand Coming to the Legislative Office Building

Office of General Services (OGS) Commissioner RoAnn Destito today announced that Mazzone Hospitality will soon be opening “Market,” a new grab-and-go food stand that will be located inside the Legislative Office Building lobby at the Empire State Plaza.

“As a former member of the New York State Legislature I know how difficult it can often be for lawmakers and their staff to find the time during a busy day to venture too far from the office to get lunch,” Commissioner Destito said. “Mazzone’s new Market in the Legislative Office Building lobby will complement all the great food options we have at the Empire State Plaza by offering a convenient option for those public servants, as well as their constituents and guests, to grab a healthy meal or snack as they rush back and forth between their offices and the Capitol.”

Expected to open later this month, Market will offer grab-and-go healthy snacks, beverages, soups, salads, sandwiches, and other delicious options.

Market’s hours of operations will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays during the legislative session.
