Effective November 11, 2024, in preparation for the construction work begin done in the East River Tunnels please note the following Amtrak Empire Corridor schedule changes listed below. Empire Corridor
- The Maple Leaf and Adirondack operate combined between New York and Albany with trains splitting/combining north of Albany to operate to/from Toronto and Montreal
- Reduction in Empire Service from 9 to 7 round trips Sunday to Friday between New York and Albany. Cancelled weekday trains are listed below with origin station departure time:
Train 230 - 5:10am Albany/Rensselaer-New York Penn Station
Train 235 - 3:15pm New York Penn Station-Albany/Rensselaer
Train 238 - 12:10pm Albany/Rensselaer-New York Penn Station
Train 245 - 10:45pm New York Penn Station-Albany/Rensselaer
- Train 241 New York Penn-Albany/Rensselaer operates approximately 30 minutes later
- Several other trains have schedule adjustments of fewer than 10 minutes
