The NYS OGS Procurement Department is holding FREE seminars to help state agencies, local governments, colleges, school districts, and non-profit organizations use state contracts more effectively. Our seasoned procurement professionals will present information on innovative contracts and share ‘best practices’ that will help improve efficiency, accountability, and cost savings.
Topics will include purchasing protocol, best practices for procurement record keeping, and tips on navigating the OGS Procurement Services website. Additionally, team members will provide information on the Vehicle Marketplace, the suite of IT centralized contracts, and an overview of the new 1122 Public Safety Program. NYS Chief Procurement Officer Sean Carroll will host an open forum to discuss other ideas and issues.
Each seminar will begin at 9:00 and end by 1:00 p.m. Continental breakfast will be provided.
