Initial Deposit to accompany bid: $13,000 in certified check or bank draft only, drawn on a bank or other financial institution authorized to do business in the State of New York, and made payable to the “Commissioner of General Services.”  Prospective bidders are strongly urged to obtain pre-contract credit clearance and borrowing guidelines from their financial institution.  This will assist the bidder in estimating his or her bid range; as well as facilitate the state contract approval process and a timely closing.

Additional Deposit:  A non-refundable amount which when added to the initial deposit constitutes 10% of the successful bid, said amount is payable within ten business days of notification of acceptance of bid.
