The Office of General Services and the New York Power Authority were proud to showcase a variety of light-duty electric vehicles and charging infrastructure in our State’s capital at the Inaugural New York State Electric Vehicle Fleet Event. This event gave several hundred Fleet managers, sustainability coordinators, and members of the general public the opportunity to learn about our important work toward meeting Governor Hochul’s goal to transition all light duty fleet vehicles to electric vehicles by 2035. Attendees engaged with 18 different EV models and 10 chargers from a diverse set of vendors. In addition to the vendors on the Plaza, there was an area designated for conversations with experts about the challenges and solutions associated with switching your agency’s fleet to all electric vehicles.
