New York State's Office of General Services (OGS) and the New York Power Authority (NYPA) will host the fourth annual New York State Electric Vehicle Fleet EVent on Thursday, May 7, at the Empire State Plaza in Albany, N.Y.
Vehicle, Equipment, and Vendor Displays
From 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. on the Empire State Plaza Concourse and Plaza, OGS and NYPA's Electric Vehicle Fleet Event will showcase light-duty and medium- and heavy-duty electric vehicles (EVs), EV charging technologies, electric landscaping equipment and electric off-road equipment. Connect with more than 20 vendors to learn about the latest EVs on the market, utility programs, workforce development opportunities in the EV industry, and more.
In addition to the vehicle and vendor displays, attendees may register to participate in the sessions below:

State of the EV Industry Panel Discussion: 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
About the panelists
- Rosa Davies serves as the Business Development Director at Veloz. She has six years of institutional knowledge in public charging and an overall 10 years of experience working with renewable energies.
- Keith Kerman is a Deputy Commissioner at the Citywide Administrative Services and NYC’s first Chief Fleet Officer, serving 50 agencies and a fleet of 29,000 vehicles.
- John Markowitz is the Senior Director of e-Mobility at the New York Power Authority where he is developing the EVolve NY Program that will expand the state’s DC fast charging network and public fleet electrification.
- Adam Ruder is the Director for NYSERDA’s Clean Transportation group, which focuses on developing, demonstrating, and deploying technologies, policies, and business models that advance electric vehicles and other modes of clean transportation.
