Associate Commissioner for the Business Services Center
Erin Ryan is the Director of the Business Services Center (BSC), where she oversees New York State’s central office for processing HR and finance transactions for multiple state agencies. Erin has dedicated her 25-year career with the state to providing exceptional customer service and streamlining operational processes to create efficiencies. Erin is passionate about leveraging technology and best practices to optimize service delivery and exceed customer expectations. Erin joined OGS in 2014, after working in personnel and human resources management with the NYS Division of Budget for nearly 13 years. She previously served as the BSC Manager, Project Director, and Assistant Deputy Director of the BSC, where she gained thorough knowledge of HR and payroll transaction processing, benefits administration, and HR information technology. Erin has led the successful and efficient transition of numerous state agencies to the BSC for HR services, partnering with agencies to ensure their needs are fully understood and met.
Erin received her BS in Mathematics from Pace University and MPA from Rockefeller College.
