Project No. 45791: Replace Roofs & Repair Facade, Building 73, Creedmoor PC (Trades: C, H, P, E)
- Estimated Cost: $12M
- Scope: Remove stair towers, remove and infill twenty adjacent windows, and provide fire shutters. Construct new exterior stairs, towers, and provide lighting, doors, and roof structure. Remove covered walkways, provide new sidewalks, lighting, and drainage. Replace ramps and repair stairs on the southern building elevation, southern connector buildings, and east porch. Repair the ramp on the north elevation. Repair concrete areaways and stairs of the north, east, and west elevation basement egress stairs, and repair concrete spalls, install expansion joints, and provide curb, guardrails, lighting, fences, and new gates. Remove guardrails, re-point stone treads and landings, and provide new guardrails at the stairs of the north connecting buildings 1 & 3. Remove the existing metal stair at the loading dock, repair spalls, provide metal edge, bumper, guardrails, fencing and posts, railing, a new stair assembly, a new roof assembly, gutters, and downspouts. Replace the elevator bulkhead roof at the north elevator bulkhead with a new one.
