Associate Commissioner for Programming and Resource Management

Anton Dreslin joins OGS as the Associate Commissioner for Programming and Resource Management. In this role, Anton provides executive leadership and strategic direction to the Contract Administration and Purchasing Support, Billing, Enterprise Solutions, Risk Management, and Foundational Information & Improvement teams that provide critical operational services across the Division of Real Estate. 

Anton comes to OGS from the Office of Information Technology Services, where he held several positions for over a decade. His primary role was leading enterprise system development to support more than 20 state agencies. Among his accomplishments is the successful launch of New York Business Express, the first public-facing, multi-agency transactional shared system to streamline regulatory requirements for NYS businesses. 

Prior to his state service, Anton worked in a variety of private sector positions, including as an aircraft flight system engineer, a financial mathematician/quant, and a vice president of technology overseeing government systems at a financial institution. Anton serves on the board of Albany County’s Industrial Development Agency, supporting local economic development.   

Anton earned his master’s degree in information systems from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and has undergraduate degrees in mathematics and engineering.
