OGS estimates that approximately 18,500 people enjoyed free skating at the Empire State Plaza rink this season. Additionally, skate rentals made available through Cahill's Sports proved successful with more than 750 skates rented throughout the season.
Skate rentals will be available Friday, March 23 from 5PM to 9PM in the Skater's Lounge in the North West corridor on the Concourse Level of the Empire State Plaza. Rentals are $4 a pair.
The ice rink's normal hours of operation during the winter season are Monday through Friday 11AM - 3PM, 4PM - 9PM, and on Saturday and Sunday 10AM - 3PM, 4PM - 9PM, weather permitting.
The rink is located at the north end of the Empire State Plaza, near the Capitol and The Egg.
